The Flatiron Room Murray Hill

The Flatiron Room opened its Murray Hill outpost in 2017, a few blocks from the Empire State Building and run as a sister room to the original Flatiron District bar. The space favors a classic New York lounge look over anything flashier, with a stage that keeps live jazz, blues and soul going most nights. Chef Jiho Kim's kitchen leans into steakhouse territory, from a 30-hour pastrami short rib to a prime tomahawk built for sharing. Spirits are the real draw: the back bar stocks whiskey and other spirits by the hundreds, sold by the glass or set aside by the bottle for regulars keeping one on hold.
