A narrow, dimly lit room on Tenth Avenue is built almost entirely around a concrete bar, and On the Rocks stocks more than eighty whiskeys, from Redbreast 15-year to Ridgemont 1792 bourbon, plus around sixty bottled beers for anyone who'd rather not commit to brown liquor. Exposed brick runs the length of the room, and most of the seating is at the bar itself, arranged so it's easy to ask the bartender what's worth trying next.
