The Campbell

Financier John W. Campbell's private office and reception hall, off the southwest corner of Grand Central Terminal, holds 25-foot hand-painted ceilings and a stone fireplace from his 1923 renovation. After his death the room cycled through a gun-storage facility and a jail before Mark Grossich turned it into a bar in the late 1990s; the Gerber Group reopened it in 2017 and added two rooms next door, the Palm Court and the Terrace. Walk in past the awning on Vanderbilt Avenue, or cut through Cipriani inside the terminal and up the stairs.
