Lillie's Victorian Establishment

The name honors Lillie Langtry, the Victorian actress who later ran a winery in California; the West 49th Street bar copies the ornate 'gin palaces' that once lined industrial cities in Northern Ireland and England. Wooden furnishings shipped in from Belfast surround a room heavy with stained glass and antique fittings a few doors from the Theater District. The kitchen runs a traditional pub menu of stews, fish and steaks, backed by more than fifty beers on tap and bottled alongside a whiskey and wine list. Afternoon tea is served daily, with mini sweets, pastries, scones and finger sandwiches on the menu.
