On a sunny corner of Amsterdam Avenue, this Colombian cafe fills a light-wood, plant-lined room with coffee and food, and a few sidewalk tables for when the weather holds. The empanadas are the thing to order: a chewy corn crust around beef and mashed potato, finished with a green sauce that has some heat, next to a guava-and-cheese palito and a cafe con leche.
