The Flatiron Room

Opened in 2012, this whiskey bar built its name on a spirits list that now runs past a thousand bottles, plus a locker program for regulars who buy a whole one and keep it behind the bar. Live music plays every night, blues and jazz mostly, with the occasional singer-songwriter and never a cover charge. A Michelin-starred kitchen backs the bar with a full dinner menu, and the candlelit main room stays busy past midnight.
