Undercote

Below Cote, the Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse in Flatiron, Undercote is a dim, plant-walled room with black furniture and a slightly hidden, below-street entrance. It doesn't take reservations, so getting a seat means trying the door and waiting. The cocktail list runs to a cola-and-rye nerve tonic and a lavender vermouth riff, with caviar service and gochujang-glazed chicken nuggets on the food side. Groups of seven or more can book the space outright for a private event.
