The Mark Bar

Jacques Grange designed this hotel bar on Madison Avenue at 77th Street, pairing his own concept with furnishings by Guy de Rougemont and Vladimir Kagan. The room runs on classic and signature cocktails made to order, including a Basil Margarita, a Sour Cherry Old Fashioned, and a Mark Manhattan built around the hotel's own bottling. Seating is first come, first served, with no reservations taken. It sits a few blocks from Central Park and the Guggenheim, and stays busy past midnight most nights.
