Bar Snack

A wood-paneled bar anchors this East Village cocktail spot, where Twisted Tea coolers and snack-sized martinis, one recent version built on clementine and spice, keep the mood closer to a house party than a night out. A hot dog piled with onion jam, hot pickle and chips backs up the drink list, and prices stay low across the board. Bartender Iain Griffiths runs the room walk-in only, and groups larger than six aren't seated on Friday or Saturday.
