Also known as WCOU Radio, this East Village dive has kept its black-and-white tile floor and diner-style tables since opening in 1984. Old photographs of the neighborhood line the walls, and a jukebox stocked with punk and indie rock has replaced whatever used to be in the corner. The bar pours beer and shots, no cocktails and no wine, and doesn't serve food, though nobody minds if you bring your own. Happy hour runs until 8 p.m.
