A door at the back of the Envoy Enterprises gallery on Chrystie Street opens into this dimly lit, female-owned cocktail den, with beaded chandeliers and taxidermy on the walls. The short list runs from a traditional muddled-sugar Sazerac to the Marcel Duchamp-referencing Rose Selavy, named for the artist's female alter ego. There's no food menu, just cocktails, and the bar takes walk-ins only rather than reservations. Hours stretch past midnight most nights, later on Thursdays through Saturdays.
