Taking its name and tone from American Psycho, this low-key, ten-seat bar with a twenty-seat dining room was built by co-founders Carlo Olcese and Natasha Van Duser around the joke that it's "the place that Patrick Bateman would hate to love." Signature drinks have included the Hotel Transylvania, a riff on the Hotel Nacional, and an espresso martini called the Pink Pony Club, with bar snacks devised by Zach Niel, known around the city for pop-culture-themed bars. Reservations open two weeks in advance, but walk-ins have room too, and same-day bookings close an hour before opening.
