Olympia Wine Bar

Tucked on the corner of Jay and Water streets in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge, this tiny wine bar keeps the lights low, but not so low a glass label goes unreadable. The food menu runs to meat-and-cheese boards rather than full plates, and a small list of cocktails and beer backs up the wine. It draws enough regulars that a few visits are usually enough to earn a first-name greeting from the staff.
