3rd Place from the Sun

Whitney Wolfe, who runs Last Place on Earth in Greenpoint, opened this DUMBO board game cafe in September 2025 as a second location built around private rooms rather than open tables. Over 500 titles fill the shelves, bought specifically for this spot rather than moved over from the original, split between a retail section up front and play space in back. A dedicated Dungeons & Dragons room adds soundproof glass, a Wyrmwood table, and its own lighting and sound system. Outside food and drink are allowed, alcohol included for a corking fee, so groups can settle in for a few hours at a time.
