Market 57 Food Hall

Fifteen kiosks from independent, largely women- and minority-owned food businesses fill this 16,000-square-foot hall on Pier 57, run with guidance from the James Beard Foundation as an incubator for small operators. Vendors range from Italian cooking to Indian home-style dishes, Japanese food, and specialty coffee, each with its own hours and menu. It sits over the Hudson River near Little Island, with the main hall open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Individual kiosks can close earlier or later than that.
