The Rockwell Place

The Rockwell Place occupies a former industrial garage in Fort Greene, a long room with high ceilings and skylights, mixing bar seats with small tables. The bar's cocktails skip garnishes in favor of house-made aromatic tinctures, and chef Kevin Walker Garrett's kitchen sends out chicken skewers, spicy baby cauliflower and a burger. It doesn't usually take reservations, though groups of six or more can book ahead by email. It works as a pre- or post-show stop before Barclays Center.
