Julie Reiner opened Clover Club in 2008 around a mahogany bar dating to 1897, salvaged from northeastern Pennsylvania, in a long, deep room with a tin ceiling and decorative tile floor. The back bar stocks more than 120 spirits, plus a rotation of housemade syrups and bitters, and bartenders audition four times a year for spots on the seasonal drink list. Evening cocktails run alongside a kitchen menu that stretches from deviled eggs to steak frites.
