Two longtime Brooklyn bar and booking veterans, Cenk Eryaman and Chip Su, opened Gold Sounds in 2016 and named it for a Pavement song. The front room runs on a vintage jukebox; the back room is reached through its own insulated doors, so a show back there doesn't bleed into the bar up front, with a sound system built for touring and local indie acts. Shows book most nights of the week, some 18-and-up and some all-ages.
