Owner Mohamed learned coffee roasting while traveling through Morocco and Egypt, and built this Astoria shop around that Middle Eastern hospitality, carrying it through the pastry recipes and the desert-toned decor. The counter serves a vanilla latte alongside a Dubai chocolate croissant, all of it halal. It's built for staying awhile rather than a quick stop, open early into the evening seven days a week.
