This Long Island City bar has poured cocktails from the same address since May 2009, styled like an early-1900s room with a front section of private booths that opens into a back bar under a skylight. Time Out New York named it the city's best bar in 2021, citing its bespoke drinks and throwback look. The kitchen only runs to bar nibbles and sandwiches, so it's really a cocktail stop: classics and seasonal drinks made with hand-cut ice, plus a short list of local beers and wines. Happy hour discounts cocktails Sunday through Thursday, from 5 to 7.
