Guest DJs spin records Wednesday through Saturday at Mr. Melo, a vinyl listening bar on Withers Street lit by a scattering of tiny amber spotlights. Rows of serious-looking speakers line a room built for the sound as much as the crowd, with a few tables where couples sit and talk between sets. The kitchen keeps to Greek-inspired bites: a crispy eggplant sandwich, fries buried in tzatziki, and a feta brine martini that tastes more like the sea than a bar snack usually does. Reservations are only for parties of ten or more, so everyone else just walks in.
