Lo-Res

Lo-Res sits on the ground floor of Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg, where old TVs run a 24-hour loop pulled from the theater's VHS Vault: public-access oddities, art documentaries, bootleg concert tapes, and the occasional horror flick. The idea came from Nitehawk programmer John Woods, who brought in his own tape collection to fill the screens. The bar pours a long whiskey list with a few local breweries mixed in, plus cocktails like the Audrey Two, made with lavender gin, and Nitehawk's full food menu is available at the bar too. A free trivia night runs the second Wednesday of the month, and a vinyl DJ set takes over on the second and fourth Fridays.
