With Others

Slate-gray walls and dim lighting keep the volume down at With Others, a natural wine bar on Bedford Avenue where the list runs to low-intervention reds, whites and skin-contact pours by the glass, plus bottle deals worth catching. Chef Jay Wolman, an alum of Mimi and Babs, consults on a short food menu built around an apero trio of olives, marcona almonds and fennel crackers, plus a cheese plate, though nothing here amounts to a full dinner. Most nights it's two people at the bar splitting a bottle and that cheese plate rather than a bigger group.
