Open since 2008 at the corner of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, this bar bills itself plainly: "not done fancy, just done right." A pool table sits in back, and the cocktail list is built around classic technique rather than flourish. It rarely draws a line or a crowded bar, so a seat and a bit of quiet are easy to come by even on a weekend night.
