A Williamsburg storefront turned Parisian brasserie leans on a horse-racing theme, with tip-sheet-style menus, old betting booths and a floor inlaid with horse medallions. The kitchen splits French dishes like coq au vin and steak frites with American plates like fried chicken and a griddled burger, and happy hour runs cut-rate oysters alongside a beer-and-shot special. Alla Lapushchik, who also runs the whiskey bar Post Office, built a cocktail list around twenty drinks that change with the season. Large groups can book ahead on Resy, while the bar itself fills in on its own most nights.
