Bryant Park turns its lawn into a 17,000-square-foot ice rink each winter, free to skate on for anyone who brings their own skates, with rentals available for everyone else. Around it, an open-air market of more than 150 vendors brings in artisans selling apparel, jewelry and gifts, and The Lodge, a heated food hall overlooking the rink, serves pretzels, sausages and fries alongside beer, wine and seasonal cocktails. The rink and market run from late October through early January, with skating continuing into February.
