Jerry Foley, who also owns Jack Jones, opened Honey Fitz on Broadway in January 2025 with Irish bartenders Sean Doran and Andy Collins, naming it for his father's nickname and his mother's maiden name, Fitzgerald. The name also nods to John Francis 'Honey Fitz' Fitzgerald, JFK's grandfather, who reportedly drank at the old Broadway Station nearby in the 1930s. The bar stocks more than 40 Irish whiskeys and a Guinness tap, plus eight signature cocktails like the San Patricio, made with tequila, espresso and Licor 43. A snug in back gives regulars a private corner, under old photographs of Ireland and Astoria.
