Raju Mirchandani opened this Hudson Street cigar bar in 1991, making it the oldest still operating in Manhattan, ahead of Club Macanudo, the Carnegie Club and the wave of clubs that followed it. English Colonial-style decor, vintage monkey-print wallpaper and a world-class Scotch selection set the tone inside. The pairing of a hand-rolled cigar with whiskey is the whole idea here, taken late into the night. Hours run to 2am on weeknights and 3am on Friday and Saturday.
