A bright, 7,000-square-foot building in Playa del Rey holds four separate concepts from Top Chef winner Brooke Williamson and partner Nick Roberts: a counter-service cafe for breakfast and lunch, an ice cream counter, a marketplace of cookbooks and kitchenware, and a whiskey bar tucked in back. Dockside, the sit-down side, runs its own California coastal menu. The same food carries into every room, including a lobster roll stacked with lobster meat.
