Beachwood Brewing & Distilling

The old Liberation Brewing space in Bixby Knolls became a distillery in 2024, when Beachwood, the Long Beach brewery that's poured there since 2011, installed a still of its own. Gin, vodka, and rum come off it into cocktails like a Negroni and a Jungle Bird. Twenty-four taps of house beer round out the bar, and the room goes 21-and-up only after 9pm. Food runs to a short-rib burger and a fried chicken sandwich, with bread from the company's Huntington Beach pizzeria served simply with olive oil and Maldon salt.
