In the courtyard of the Hauser & Wirth gallery complex in the Arts District, chef Kris Tominaga cooks over a charcoal grill and wood-fired oven for Manuela, sending out shrimp aguachile, barbecued oysters and diver scallops. Herb beds, fruit trees and a chicken coop fill the courtyard itself, framed by murals and commissioned art from Paul McCarthy and Mark Bradford. Reservations cover weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner nightly, poured alongside cocktails made with house-made bitters.
