Eggslut

A food truck that chef Alvin Cailan started in 2011 drew waits up to two hours before settling into a stall at Grand Central Market's Broadway entrance in 2013 under the name Eggslut. Its signature order is the Slut, a coddled egg over potato puree served in a jar with baguette for dipping, alongside sandwiches like the Fairfax, built on scrambled eggs, cheddar, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo on a brioche bun. The stall moves close to a thousand eggs some weekdays, more on weekends, with a line that still runs past an hour.
