You reach it through Caldo Verde, on the ground floor of the Downtown L.A. Proper, where a stained-glass door by Judson Studios opens onto a room of eighteen seats. Kelly Wearstler did the room in roman clay plaster and Moroccan cement tile, terracotta and pink under silk ceiling fixtures. Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne opened it in 2023; drinks get built tableside off a rolling cart, and the food is Iberian and small: jamón ibérico tartine, salt cod fritters, grilled prawns. Reservations only.
