Stones Throw Records has kept its offices in this North Figueroa building for years, and in 2018 label founder Peanut Butter Wolf turned part of it into a bar stocked with about 7,500 records from his own collection. The drinks lean on highballs, with a few classic cocktails, natural wine and a short beer list. Local DJs play from the collection seven nights a week, and they play it loud: Detroit techno one night, jazz or '80s Japanese funk the next.
