Hennessey’s Tavern

Sidewalk tables sit right on Manhattan Beach Boulevard a few blocks up from the pier, and the pub opens at 8 a.m. on weekends, so breakfast and a midnight pint happen in the same room. Happy hour runs 4 to 7 on weekdays: lemonades with fresh-squeezed juice, ahi tacos, pretzel bites. Upstairs is a private room for 50 that management books any night of the week. Bands play the room now and then.
