About this spot
On our lists of the best rooftop bars and cocktail bars in Los Angeles.
Glass walls and fire pits block the wind at this open-air bar on the 73rd floor of the InterContinental, reached by a fast elevator up from the hotel. Seating is spread across several areas, and the menu is a small run of plates such as crispy shrimp, mushroom bisque and chicken skewers, plus a burger with bacon slaw. It is open to the public, and the deck turns over to yoga and sound-bowl sessions at sunset.
