Desert 5 Spot

On the roof of a Hollywood hotel, this bar leans all the way into a Pioneertown fantasy: neon signs, boot- and cactus-shaped glassware, and a house band called The Desert 5 that plays live most nights. The week rotates through cowboy karaoke, beginner and intermediate line-dancing lessons, and weekend DJ sets, with occasional touring acts added to the bill. Come in anything but athletic wear or flip-flops — the dress code leans western, and the crowd mostly plays along.
