Mr. Wanderlust

Psychedelic light projections line the hallway leading to a private elevator up to the eighth floor of the Moxy Downtown, where the Houston Brothers built a piano bar around a fictional globetrotting namesake. Cocktails come from bar director Melina Meza, and on a given night that can mean a magician working the tables, burlesque performers overhead, and a pianist on a spinning piano. Walk-ins are seated nightly based on availability, though groups over six are routed to bottle service.
