A family has run this paddleboard and kayak outfit out of Mother's Beach since 2008, launching straight into the calm, wave-free water of Marina del Rey's main harbor basin. Rentals cover solo and tandem kayaks alongside stand-up boards, with private lessons for beginners and a guided tour that goes looking for the harbor's resident sea lions. Wednesday evenings bring a sunset paddle cruise, and dogs can come along with their own life vests.
