Behind a door at its sister bar on the corner of Melrose and Western, a twelve-seat counter serves a tasting built around seafood flown in largely from Japan. The menu changes with the season, with courses that have included a wasabi-spiked shrimp tartare, mackerel toast and pesto spaghetti topped with smoked skipjack. Seating runs Thursday through Saturday, at 7pm or in two sittings on Saturdays. Reservations go through Tock, and a waitlist forms once seats are gone.
