Guillaume Sabbadin, trained in France, and his wife Debora, who grew up in Brazil, met working at a Los Angeles restaurant before opening this bakery in Riviera Village in 2020. He starts baking at one in the morning on weekdays so the baguettes, savory puff pastries and the Parisian sandwich are ready when the doors open at seven. The dessert case rotates weekly, and the Jesuit pastry has stayed a fixture. A second location in Manhattan Beach runs weekends only.
