The Hula Hula Room

A former dive bar in a Torrance strip mall got rebuilt inside with a thatched roof over the bar, wicker panels and tropical wallpaper. It's one of the only tiki bars in the South Bay, pouring a mai tai, Navy grog, a zombie and a painkiller alongside house drinks like the blue Pali Highway Sunset and a nonalcoholic Hawaii or Bust. There's no reservation list, it's walk-in, in a room that doesn't announce itself from the parking lot.
