Ben Lovett, the Mumford & Sons musician, owns this 110-seat bar through his hospitality company TVG, with chef Jon Kim running a sushi counter that stays open until 11. The room sits on the edge of Chinatown next door to the concert venue Pacific Electric, its ceilings hung with lit arches and mismatched chandeliers over plush booths and sofas. Vinyl listening nights bring in rotating guest selectors spinning funk, soul and hip-hop. The bar pours reworked classic cocktails like a tomato water martini and a palo-santo-smoked negroni, alongside natural wine and sake.
