This cocktail bar sits on the rooftop pool deck of the Freehand hotel downtown, a James Beard Award finalist known for handcrafted drinks built on homemade elixirs and unusual ingredients. Non-hotel guests can post up poolside for a minimum spend rather than a cover, with a two-hour limit on lounge seating, or grab a stool at the thatched-roof bar for guac and chips or a jerk chicken sandwich. The Oscar De La Hoya, a strawberry-and-Aperol take on a spicy margarita, is a house specialty. It runs daily from noon to midnight.
