Prospect Gourmand

At Prospect Gourmand on Robertson, silverware gets repurposed into the dining room's chandeliers, a wink at the neighborhood's polish. Chef Isaac Gamboa, who trained under Michael Mina and previously ran the kitchen at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, builds the farm-to-table menu around comfort food filtered through French technique; his wife Chancey runs the front of house. Staff tend to remember regulars by their second visit.
