Reached through an entrance built around a mocked-up tropical storm with thunder and lightning, this basement bar sits under Shannon's Corner on Pine Avenue. The front room runs modern with black light, while the back keeps traditional bamboo and tiki carvings. Karaoke runs every Monday and Thursday from 8 to 11pm, and the bar has hosted live acts like the Hula Girls and the Martini Kings. The signature Pele's Fire cocktail, named for the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, arrives spicy enough to share.
