The building at 136 East Anaheim Street went up in 1961 as Davenports, a cocktail bar and steak house, then became a Chinese-themed lounge called the Dragon Inn and, by 2001, La Fiesta Bar. Current owner John Godin gutted the space in 2019, adding a monkey pod bar top shipped from Costa Rica, neon signage, and a back bar modeled on an Art Deco watch case, and hung the walls with prints by the artist Vladimir Tretchikoff, approved by his estate. The bar pours mixed drinks and cold beer, open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
