Shannon's Corner

Family-run since 2007 at the corner of Pine and Broadway, this building holds several businesses under one name: an Irish sports pub, a New American kitchen called The Carvery, a rooftop events space, and Secret Island, a tiki bar reached by descending a staircase under Pine Avenue. Down there, a wall of fog, thunder and lightning greets visitors before Bamboo Ben Bassham's long bar and a stage where bands play regularly, some backed by hula dancers. Upstairs, the sports pub serves fish and chips and shows every game.
