Up a flight of stairs in the building that held the Avenue Downey movie theater in the 1950s, the bar shares its floor with Avenue Pizza and a second bar called Mandala, and pours signature drinks against a short tapas menu. Salsa night lands on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, with lessons at 8, bachata at 8:45 and dancing until 1. After 10 on Friday and Saturday the room works as a nightclub, and tables carry a minimum.
