Luau Larry’s

Order a Wiki Wacker and you leave wearing the straw hat that comes with it. The bar sits a few doors up Crescent Avenue from the Green Pier, dark inside with lauhala-covered walls, bamboo, neon beer signs and a corner booth walled in fake rock. Ken Putnam and Larry Buster flipped a coin for the name in 1988 and Putnam still owns it; live music takes over Friday and Saturday nights, and the kitchen sticks to burgers, sandwiches and oyster shooters.
